Holiday Shoppe at FSS of MFSD fulfills holiday wishes

At this year’s Holiday Shoppe, Family Shelter Service of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage fulfilled holiday gift wishes for 612 people – including 397 children, 30 young adults and 185 families!

The Holiday Shoppe is an opportunity to share the joy of the holiday season with those affected by domestic violence and their children. Our clients are able to shop for free for their family in a welcoming and safe environment. Learn more about the Holiday Shoppe here.

Our volunteers and supporters made this effort possible.

Over five days, 160 volunteers and staff members worked to set up the Holiday Shoppe for FSS of MFSD clients and their families.

100 Women Who Care Naperville donated over $19,000 to seed the Shoppe, along with additional donors Ulta Beauty, Chi Omega – Chicago SW Suburban Alumnae Chapter, Chamberlain Group and Michael G. Busse.
