Metropolitan Family Services invites you to celebrate the season at its 30th Annual Holiday Celebration taking place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. The Knuepfer Family will be honored as “Family of the Year” for its many contributions to Metropolitan Family Services and Metropolitan’s DuPage Center.

WGN-TV’s Mark Suppelsa will be the evening’s master of ceremonies. Entertainment including a youth band affiliated with Metropolitan’s North Center, silent and live auctions, and a wine raffle featuring select vintages will be among the highlights. Tickets are $350; to purchase click here.

The Knuepfer Family, renowned in DuPage County, has actively supported Metropolitan Family Services for many years. Robert (Robb) C. Knuepfer, Jr., Partner with Baker & McKenzie, became involved with Metropolitan Family Services in the 1990s, and as a member of the DuPage Community Center Board served on its Development Committee; he also served as President of Metropolitan Family Services’ Board of Directors from 2004-2005.

Robb’s daughter Lauren Knuepfer Rozum and Robb’s son Robert C. Knuepfer III are actively involved with Metropolitan’s Metro Board, and many of their cousins have been involved in Metro Board events. Last year, Lauren also served as Auction Committee Chair for Metropolitan’s 29th Holiday Celebration.
