Harlan High School Unveils New Student Mural
Who & What:
Community members are invited to witness the unveiling of a new student mural at Harlan Community Academy High School. Ten Harlan students and two professional artists from the Chicago Public Art Group created the mural this summer.
Students and their families, the Chicago Public Art Group, and community leaders will attend the event to celebrate the completion of the mural, which is the first of its kind in 10 years. The mural was funded through grants provided by Project Innovation, who provided the collaboration with artists from the Chicago Public Art Group.
The event will include a speech from one of the student artists.
