MetroMentors Mentoring DuPage Youth

Who We Are

MetroMentors is the youth mentoring program devoted to DuPage County and its surrounding communities. Our mission is to create and support mentoring relationships between positive, caring adults and youth. MetroMentors believes mentors can give and gain life-long benefits as they contribute their time and generosity of spirit to youth through the program.

Who We Serve

MetroMentors serves youth 7 to 14 years old by matching them with professionally supported relationships with adult mentors. Matches are placed within a structured group setting, providing needed resources that help youth reach their potential.

Who We Need

Mentors must be 18 years or older who are:

· Able to drive to mentoring sites

· Able to commit one year minimum to the program

· Available for at least one hour per mentoring session

· Willing to participate in semi-annual evaluations

· Agree to proactively communicate with youth and MetroMentors staff
