This spring, Metropolitan Family Services in partnership with the GRAMMY™ Award Nominated Sones de México Ensemble and the Ralla Klepak Foundation For Education in the Performing Arts will offer multigenerational guitar and violin classes in Spanish with a repertoire based on Mexican Folk Music. All students participating in this Sones de México program are eligible to take advantage of other programs and services available at the North Center.

Students should bring their own instrument. Don’t have an instrument? Please call us for affordable options.

Register by March 5th and save $30 per person or more when registering families of two or more!

  • Class fee: $180 per student – Late registration ends 4 weeks after classes begin (after this consider a “Day Pass”).

Discounts:

  • $150 – Super Early Bird – Register by March 5th ($30 off)
  • $165 – Early Bird – Register by March 26th ($15 off)
  • Family Discount – Register two or more family members and save $15 per person

Ralla Klepak (1936-2019) was a performing arts enthusiast, an educator, and a fierce advocate on behalf of disadvantaged youth and individuals with disabilities. She was a lawyer for more than 55 years and an advocate for the LGBTQ community and dedicated her career to defending the most vulnerable. Upon her passing The Ralla Klepak Foundation was established to fund programs that support her vision and her legacy for years to come.
