Metro Calumet Holds Health Care Enrollment Event 2/14

The deadline to be enrolled for health insurance is February 15, 2015! For those needing help getting enrolled Metropolitan Calumet Center is holding an Enrollment Assistance Event on Sat., Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Center, located at 235 E. 103rd St. in Chicago. Admission is free.

Key things to know:

Those ranging from ages 19 to 64 may qualify for Medicaid.
Under the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, all health insurance plans offer free preventative services which include annual medical exams, some immunizations and more.
No one will be denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions or illness.
Individuals may qualify for financial assistance to help pay for their monthly premium.

Every case is different, and staff will help attendees find the best plan for themselves and their families.
