Family Day of Play showcases fun & community resources in DuPage

At this year’s Family Day of Play, our DuPage Center’s Wheaton/Warrenville Early Childhood Collaborative gathered more organizations than ever to share community resources and activities with children and their families.

Sixty people represented 30 vendor organizations, including Wheaton Public Library, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, Aqua-Tots Wheaton, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwestern Indiana, Chiro One Wellness Centers, WDSRA, Community School of the Arts, and more.

These organizations introduced more than 250 attendees, including 123 children, to the services they offer. Many tables included interactive fun for the kids, with info for their parents on the community resources available to them.
