Metropolitan Launches “Mpower the Night” Gala in 2016

Mark your calendars for Sat., November 12, 2016 for Metropolitan’s biggest bash of the year! The Holiday Celebration has a new name, “Mpower the Night,” and will take place at one of Chicago’s newest architectural wonders, the Radisson Blue Aqua Hotel at the Aqua Tower.

Mpower the Night attracts more than 700 leading business and philanthropic leaders for a memorable night of activities including music, dance, silent and live auctions, and fine dining – all to help “Mpower” more than 68,000 children and families throughout the Chicago area. Metropolitan’s wide-ranging services cover education, economic stability, emotional wellness and empowerment/legal aid.

Metropolitan Board Member Marcus Cooper, Regional Leader/South for Zurich NA, will chair the Host Committee.

Mpower the Night is Metropolitan’s largest annual fundraiser. The event has raised $1 million or more each year for the last five years, and we look forward to 2016 being another success!
