Educación

Early Childhood Mental Health Services (ECMH)

provides additional support to children and in the Early Learning Program as well as children in the community from birth to five that have social-emotional needs. Assessment, counseling, case management, consultation and collaboration are provided to
children and their caregivers by social workers and counselors that specialize in working with infants and young children. Parent, staff and community trainings and workshops are also provided.

Colaboración en la primera infancia

Reúne a distritos escolares, organismos comunitarios, proveedores de servicios para la primera infancia y simpatizantes para mejorar la preparación escolar de los niños de las zonas con menos recursos de Wheaton, Warrenville y Addison.

Servicios de educación infantil

Atiende a mujeres embarazadas, niños de 0 a 5 años y sus familias para garantizar la preparación escolar de nuestros residentes más jóvenes y capacitar a las familias para mejorar el futuro de sus hijos. Se ofrecen servicios a domicilio, de media jornada y de jornada completa.

Bienestar emocional

Apoyo y preservación de la adopción y la tutela

Ofrece intervención a domicilio a familias formadas mediante adopción o tutela subvencionada. El asesoramiento, la intervención en situaciones de crisis y la asistencia de guardia las 24 horas del día ayudan a abordar la adaptación, la resolución del duelo y la pérdida, el apego y los problemas educativos y emocionales. Este programa apoyado por el DCFS también ofrece servicios de respiro terapéutico, grupos psicoeducativos y de apoyo, talleres y ayuda para conseguir recursos.

Salud conductual

offers team-based, recovery-focused individual, family, and group therapy services, case management, crisis intervention, community support, and psychiatry. MFS Behavioral Health services promote psychological, social, and emotional development that helps to achieve and maintain recovery. MFS offers Behavioral Health programs to children, adolescents, and adults.

Apoyo al cuidador familiar

groups give children of aging parents, spouses and long-distance caregivers an opportunity to share caregiving concerns, learn to balance their needs with those of their loved ones, manage stress, feel supported by others who share their journey, and get helpful tips and resources. Individual counseling and case management services are also provided to support caregivers.

Abuelos que crían a sus nietos

Moviliza servicios de apoyo para cuidadores mayores que están criando niños, incluyendo observación clínica, evaluación, derivaciones, grupos de apoyo y educativos, y tanto para abuelos como para nietos, si es necesario, asesoramiento familiar e individual.

Estabilización intensiva de la colocación

Proporciona intervenciones terapéuticas clínicamente intensivas a corto plazo a jóvenes bajo tutela que luchan con problemas emocionales y de comportamiento. Los servicios se prestan en función de los síntomas de trauma, los problemas emocionales/de conducta y los comportamientos de riesgo.

Asesoramiento para mayores

Ayuda a las personas mayores vulnerables física, emocional y/o económicamente a funcionar de la forma más independiente posible. Incluye evaluaciones a domicilio o en consulta, asesoramiento familiar e individual, grupos de apoyo, gestión de casos y enlaces a recursos.

Substance Use, Prevention, and Recovery Services (SUPR)

provide person-centered substance use treatment services for teens and adults that focus on the unique recovery experiences of each person and family served. Our clinical teams are trained in treating substance use disorders and grounded in harm-reduction principles. We prioritize safety and meet people where they are, offering support without judgment. Services begin with a thoughtful assessment and collaborative treatment planning. We encourage our participants to engage in group therapy, one-on-one counseling, and build strong support networks to assist in the treatment process.

Iniciativa de Vivienda de Apoyo para Familias en Transición (S.H.I.F.T)

A community partnership involving Metropolitan DuPage (MFSD), Catholic Charities and YWCA that provides program participants with permanent housing and long-term stability through case management and employment services. MFSD offers mental health services, home-based therapy and psychiatric services to program participants to support families transitioning from homelessness.

WEGO Juntos por la infancia

is a collaboration mobilizing West Chicago schools and community to address the health, safety and well-being of students and families. MFSD provides individual and family counseling, case management, consultation and crisis management services to students in West Chicago school districts 33 and 94. Services are provided in the school setting as well as at home and in the community.

Capacitación

Servicio de Acogida Familiar de Metropolitan Family Services DuPage (FSS de MFSD)

offers free, confidential support to adults and children affected by domestic abuse. Recognizing that each situation is unique, FSS of MFSD provides a wide range of programming, including emergency shelter, court services and orders of protection, supportive services for children and adults, 40 hr. domestic violence training, and community-based & prevention services.

Sociedad de Asistencia Jurídica

Provides legal assistance and community education to low-income individuals in the areas of domestic violence, immigration, human trafficking, employment and other legal topics.
