Legal Aid Society clients must meet specific residential and income criteria to receive services. If individuals do not qualify we work to connect them with other referrals and resources.

Service Area Eligibility
To receive services, you must live in Cook County or have a pending case at one of the following locations:
- Daley Center, 50 W. Washington St., Chicago, IL
- Domestic Violence Courthouse, 555 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL

In determining financial eligibility, please remember that these figures are only guidelines. If there is an important client need which cannot otherwise be met, please call us to discuss. Ongoing and necessary expenses such as health care, day care and court-ordered support that is actually paid are considered in determining financial eligibility.
