Get involved  (Photo by Eileen Ryan) Metropolitan Family Services works with over 700 volunteers each year. Our volunteers are an invaluable part of the work we do. When volunteers supplement and support the work of social workers, lawyers, community advocates and all of the other crucial positions, the agency as a whole functions much more effectively, bringing solutions and improvements to clients and to communities. Internships Metropolitan also offers a variety of field placements and internships for students in human service and other fields.
