Kendra Reinshagen has served as Executive Director of the Legal Aid Bureau since 2004. She previously worked as a staff attorney and managing attorney at MFS for ten years. She has worked in legal services and on domestic violence issues since 1977.
Reinshagen was the only civil attorney appointed to the Illinois Attorney General’s Advisory Committee to the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Accountability Project of DePaul College of Law and previously served on the Governor’s Commission on the Status of Women.
She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee and is vice-chair of the CBA Legal Services Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Pre-law and Women's Studies and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law.
