  The Associate Board of the Legal Aid Society (“AB LAS”) is an association of young professionals assisting the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services in providing pro bono work, fundraising, and raising awareness of the Legal Aid Society's charitable work in the greater Chicagoland area. AB LAS is comprised of committees that support the functioning of the Legal Aid Society. These committees recruit attorneys for pro bono casework, develop mentoring programs, and cultivate resources for non-legal assistance. They work to drive membership, awareness and fundraising, coordinate special events and provide marketing/communications support for AB LAS.
