Metropolitan’s Holiday Gift Program brought the special joy of the holidays to 1,400 families and individuals in the Chicagoland area. Through generous donations from corporate and individual donors, we were able to provide gifts, gift cards and holiday meals to the families we serve. The annual Holiday Gift Program – Metropolitan’s largest in-kind fundraiser – gave donors the option to sponsor a family, conduct a toy drive or make monetary or in-kind gift card donations to help our families in need. Employees adopted 75 families who received gift cards and gifts. 

Deloitte employees went above and beyond adopting over 300 families and raising over $35,000 in in-kind donations. Thanks to all of our generous donors who brightened the holidays and made a difference in the lives of so many of our MFS families. Among the many donors were Boeing employees who hosted a party complete with pizza, juice boxes, water, toys and activities for 40 young mothers and their children at Metropolitan’s Midway Center.  Additionally, Boeing
