Share the spirit of the season!
Metropolitan’s Holiday Gift Program is a wonderful way for you to experience the joy of the season and share that joy with others. Your donation of gift cards, toys/items and cash donations make it possible for families to purchase the gift their child or senior family member needs and wants most. Families served through this program receive services at one of our seven community centers in the city and suburbs.
It's easy to help!
1) Be a Holiday Partner
(contribute gift cards or make a donation)
Your contribution of gift cards (at a minimum of $25) to grocery stores and/or “big box” stores makes it possible for Metropolitan’s families who cannot afford to purchase gifts or provide special holiday meals to create a holiday celebration that is uniquely their own. Gift cards allow the recipient to shop for that “special” toy or item of clothing as well as to purchase food for a special holiday meal.

2) Organize a gift/toy drive
Spread the holiday spirit to your co-workers, neighbors and friends by organizing a gift/toy drive for Metropolitan’s kids and families in need. Only NEW items will be accepted. 3) Sponsor a family
Provide a family with gift card(s) or special items for their children or for a senior, plus help with a holiday meal. We request gift cards at a minimum of $25 per child or senior and a $50 gift card per family to a grocery or “big box” store where groceries are sold.
