Day with Dad 2012

Thanks to the very generous support of our sponsors and friends, Day with Dad set a new record this year by raising more than $97,000 to benefit young families in Chicago! Metropolitan’s young parent development programs focus on building the critical skills needed to improve participants’ parenting and financial planning skills.

On Sunday, September 9, Day with Dad brought together more than 200 attendees – including dads, moms and kids – to see the Chicago White Sox vs. the Kansas City Royals. Families enjoyed watching the players warm up while participating in the pre-game parade, then headed to the stands to watch the Sox play ball! A balloon artist, sign-making before the game and other activities were a hit with the kids and added to the excitement of a truly fun-filled day at the ballpark!
