Previously Conroy was Regional Vice President for the American Cancer Society, Chicago Region, responsible for health initiatives, fund raising, advocacy, workplace giving and communications. He also served as Planned Giving Director for Northern Illinois. In addition to presenting at philanthropic conferences, he is a part-time instructor at DePaul University’s School of Public Service.
Conroy also has served as Director of Development at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Northwestern Memorial Foundation and as Vice President for Development and Public Affairs at Mundelein College Chicago. At DePaul University he served as Associate Vice President for Development and as Executive Director of the DePaul University College of Law’s International Human Rights Law Institute.
In addition to his role as a member of the Board of Directors of Chicago-based A Silver Lining Foundation, Conroy is Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Network for Justice and Peace and the Chicago Council on Planned Giving.
